Using the advanced technology found in Windows Mobile Smartphones, we're excited to announce the newest edition to our mobile computing line of VCF products. Developed with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, VCFSp currently supports cell phones running the Windows Mobile Smartphone (5.0 and 6.0) and the Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition (5.0 and 6.0) operating systems.

VCF For Smartphones is the first and currently the only full-featured crash reconstruction calculator for the Windows Mobile Smartphone Operating System.



What does it do?

With VCFSp, you can calculate crash formulas right on the scene, no matter where it happens to be. VCFSp allows the crash investigator the freedom of true portability and mobility when working a crash investigation. VCFSp is fast and easy to use. Virtually all traffic homicide investigators that were shown VCFSp during demonstrations used the software with little to no help from the documentation or the demonstrator. With VCFSp, time saved during your calculations is time spent on other, more involved tasks on the crash scene.


Software Updates and Fixes

December 4, 2008 - 1) Corrected an issue with CEAppMgr not transferring the files to the device and installing them properly. 2) The 360° Momentum results screen was showing an incorrect prompt for Post Impact Speed of V2. Please contact support@prosirius.com for an update.

Windows Mobile 6.0 Compatibility

Microsoft  released their new Windows Mobile 6.0 version for PDAs (Classic Edition) and PDAs with phone support (Professional Edition). VCF for Smartphones has been tested with the Professional Edition of the new OS and as of this posting no incompatibilities have been found.

VCF for Windows Smartphones is available for these devices that use Windows Mobile Smartphone (5.0 and 6.0) or Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition (5.0 and 6.0). Requires Microsoft Compact Framework 2.0 installed on Phone and Smartphone Editions.

OS Supported: Desktop PC - Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista

Hardware: Pentium (or 100% compatible) capable of running Microsoft Windows Active Sync 4.1 or greater software.
