In September 2001, VCFCe and VCFCe Metric (predecessors to VCF for Windows Mobile) were introduced as the first traffic reconstruction software on the market for the Windows CE Pocket PC Operating Systems. What does it do?

With VCFWm, you can calculate crash formulas right on the scene, no matter where it happens to be. VCFWm allows the crash investigator the freedom of true portability and mobility when working a crash investigation. VCFWm is fast and easy to use. Virtually all traffic homicide investigators that were shown VCFWm during demonstrations used the software with little to no help from the documentation or the demonstrator. December 4, 2008 - 1) Corrected an issue with CEAppMgr not transferring the files to the device and installing them properly. 2) The 360° Momentum results screen was showing an incorrect prompt for Post Impact Speed of V2. Please contact support@prosirius.com for an update.

Windows Vista and VCFWm
Some users have reported minor issues when installing VCF for Windows Mobile on Windows Vista PCs and laptops. The issue involves the new Component Manager that replaces ActiveSync as the connection and transportation manager for your Windows Mobile device. Please refer to your Windows Mobile Operators Manual for more information.

Windows Handheld:	VCF for Windows Mobile is available for several generations of Windows handheld computers. Listed newest to oldest: Windows Mobile 6 Windows Mobile 5 Windows Mobile 2002 / 2003 Windows Pocket PC 3.0 handhelds including ARM 720/1100, MIPS and SH3 processors*
OS Supported:	Desktop PC - Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista
Hardware:	Pentium (or 100% compatible) capable of running Microsoft Windows Active Sync 4.1 or greater software.
