The Prosirius Technologies Process
Our streamlined process to custom software development employs a set of project management techniques which provides for efficient development and cost savings to you. Once we have reviewed and accepted your project, the first step is to create a project management plan which promotes the effective use of resources.
We then ensure all the business requirements are gathered and defined in detail and a conceptual model created. We not only examine your requirements, but employ our expertise in the areas of business and technology to conduct a thorough analysis and ensure the best system design is applied.
We will work with you to determine resource allocation. This critical step is based upon your project's scope, delivery date(s), and technology involved and identifies what resources are needed to ensure target dates and deliveries are made.
As part of our project management process, we will provide you with a Statement of Work and a Gantt chart that gives you a global view of the project. The chart allows control and accountability to be maintained at the team level and assures maximum project flexibility. You will see when different phases of the project are due and which teams are working on them at any given time in the project lifecycle.
The next step is modeling the system architecture by creating a working prototype including screens with full navigation and by defining the best solution for implementation. After acceptance of the prototype, we begin defining and documenting the system and component requirements. This provides our team the guidelines to effectiveness and success in the system implementation process.
Should you require it, we can help you with ordering and installation of hardware and network operating systems. We can train your staff on proper utilization of the new hardware, operating systems and IT procedures.
Written Estimate
Depending upon the complexity of your application, you will receive a preliminary Statement of Understanding and an initial estimate within five business days. If you approve of the estimated cost and delivery date, then we will provide you with a fully documented quote shortly thereafter.
Costs
Unless you request otherwise, Prosirius provides all of its custom development work as a fixed price contract, thus there are no surprises to you regarding the cost of your application. All estimates and quotes will be shown in US$. The amount agreed upon will not change unless you require modifications, additions or changes to the specifications or services, which will be subject to additional charges.
While each contract is unique, in general all custom development contracts require a 50% deposit to begin the work. When completed, the application will be delivered to you and following a 10 day acceptance period, you will be invoiced for balance due.
Warranty
We provide a full 6-month warranty period on all custom development. Program defects will be corrected at no charge, if not compliant with the specifications and fall within the 6-month warranty period. Prosirius stands behind our custom programming and will work with you to guarantee that it meets your specific needs.
Installation, Data Conversion and Training
Prosirius can assist you in the installation, data conversion, training, and support associated with your custom development project, whether it is on-site, via phone, or Internet. This assistance will be invoiced separately at our standard hourly rates.
Documentation
Prosirius provides complete user and system documentation for all custom development activities. The cost of creating the documentation is calculated in the quote. Documentation is delivered in electronic format, however for an additional fee, you may receive printed documentation.
